Modular flow control valves are used to control the flow to an actuator to increase or reduce its speed. Each flow control has a by-pass check valve that allows unrestricted flow in the opposite direction. The by-pass check valve allows you to independently control the speed of the actuator in each direction. For example: The flow control in the A port will control flow from pressure to the A port. When the actuator is reversed there will be no flow (speed) control. If flow (speed) control is needed in both directions select the AB flow control valve.
