Counterbalance valves hold an actuator from moving without the need of an active supply pressure. Typically used to hold a load for safety if a line is broken or power is lost. The counterbalance pressure setting should be 1.3 times the pressure to hold the load.
This counterbalance valve is a module and can be mounted under other D03 (NG6) size valves.
Backpressure at port 2 adds to the effective relief setting at a ration of 1 plus the pilot ration times the backpressure.
- Operating pressure = 1015 to 3045 psi (70 to 210bar)
- Maximum Pressure = 4060 psi (280bar)
