Proven high quality robust design successfully operating in many high volume applications.
This variable pump has an adjustable pressure setting. Once the pressure setting is reached the pump outflow is de-stroked to zero. This helps reduce hydraulic heat generation and power consumption. It also comes with a maximum flow limiter adjustment to fine tune the maximum speed of the actuators in the system.
Hydraulic Variable Pump General Data:
- 18cc/rev, 1.1in^3/rev
- SAE A, 2 bolt mounting flange
- 3625 psi maximum continuous pressure
- Maximum rotational speed 3600rpm
- 8.6gpm at 1800 rpm, 17gpm at 3600 rpm
- 15HP at 1800 rpm and 3000 psi., 36HP at 3600 rpm and 3600 psi
- SAE -16, 1 5/16-12, O-ring boss inlet and outlet port
- Rear Ports
- Two flange mounting bolts included
Options:
- Clockwise Rotation when looking at pump shaft (Counterclockwise available as an option)
- 3/4" keyed (0.187 key width) or 9 tooth spline shaft
Helpful calculations:
Pump flow in gpm = cc/rev. x rpm ÷ 3785 [example: 18cc/rev x 1800rpm ÷ 3785 = 8.6gpm]
Power to drive pump in HP = gpm x psi ÷ 1714 ÷ .9 efficiency [example: 8.6 gpm x 3000psi ÷ 1714 ÷ .9 = 16.7HP]
Terms:
cc/rev = displacement per revolution of pump (provided with the pump data)
rpm = revolution per minute the shaft is being rotated (based on users driving source)
gpm = output flow of pump in gallons per minute
3785 = constant value to convert cc/rev. to gpm
1714 = constant value to convert flow and pressure to HP
.9 = common efficiency value to account for mechanical and volumetric losses in a piston pump
