Options:
- Clockwise Rotation when looking at pump shaft (Counterclockwise available as an option)
Helpful calculations:
Pump flow in gpm = cc/rev. x rpm ÷ 3785 [example: 12cc/rev x 1800rpm ÷ 3785 = 5.7gpm]
Power to drive pump in HP = gpm x psi ÷ 1714 ÷ .85 [example: 5.7 gpm x 3000psi ÷ 1714 ÷ .85 = 11.7HP]
Terms:
cc/rev = displacement per revolution of pump (provided with the pump data)
rpm = revolution per minute the shaft is being rotated (based on users driving source)
gpm = output flow of pump in gallons per minute
3785 = constant value to convert cc/rev. to gpm
1714 = constant value to convert flow and pressure to HP
.85 = common efficiency value to account for mechanical and volumetric losses
