Hydraulic manifold assembly for attachments on tractors, construction, agricultural and recreational equipment.
Build your own valve control system based your personalized hydraulic cylinder and motor movement needs. Chose the spool type, voltage and number of valves.
Our customizable Third Function Kits are used to add additional hydraulic functions to any machine. Our systems work with any 18gpm or less system and up to 3000psi. Some common machines include: John Deere 1025R and 2025R, Kubota L2501 and L3901, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Kioti and more.
- Just add the fittings and hoses from your local supplier to the layout and lengths you need. Typically 1/2" hose for the A and B ports and 5/8" for the pressure and tank ports. Use SAE #10 7/8-14 O-ring boss fittings for the P and T ports, SAE #8 3/4-16 for the A and B ports and SAE #4 7/16-20 for the gauge port.
- Order the 18 AWG 3-conductor cable with a diameter of 6-8mm/0.236-0.314inch to the length you need. There are many choices online for the control buttons that fit your design concept. They should be rated for at least 2.5 amps. The lighted connectors inserts on each valve can be rotated for changing the cable entry direction for a clean look. The connectors include screw terminals for connecting the wire.
Parallel versus Series manifolds:
- The parallel manifolds are more common and allow each valve to "tee" off of the main pressure supply. Typically used in systems with a variably displacement pump.
- The series manifolds "daisy chain" each valve in the manifold. The tank line of the first goes to the pressure port of the next etc. The benefit is that the oil can pass through all the valves to tank when using a tandem "T" spool valve. This reduces heat build up, energy loss and allows use of more cost effective fixed displacement pumps. One valve at a time is typically used in the series system.
